Ok,

Having stared at the logo for awhile, I have a few comments or suggestions.

I think we should make it easily understood by the general public and law enforcement. So could we change the mottos to English? I know Latin is "scholarly" but how many people now a days even know that it is Latin or even heard of Latin?

Secondly, can we use something that is more directly linked to our goals as an association. In other words dealing with professionalism and integrity.

Finally, can we have lady liberty holding an AR instead of a sword? Maybe a Taser? You know bring her up to modern times?

Ok, the last one was just a joke.

And even though we have the stars and stripes, is there a something else we can add to impress that this is the United States of America.

Just some thoughts from someone that sometimes "over think" things.

SERVICE * INTEGRITY * JUSTICE

Service - the service we provide to tne judicial system and our communities.

Integrity - the actions, values, methods, principles and outcome of what and how we perform our duties.

Justice - By doing what we do in all facets of this business in a proper manner, we see that justice is served with professionalism and dignity.

I printed out both and I'm comparing the 2.

I think the second one is better color balance wise, the middle circle makes the stars and stripes and lady justice stand out better.

Also the english motto works better for me and I think the public.

Can you see how it would look with black borders on the outer circle, the blue one? If it looks ok with you then let us see otherwise, don't bother.

I don't guess you can hang a pair of handcuffs on her somewhere?

Lets get some other comments from the rest of the group.

Either way, I think you have done a really great job. The logo will lool good on jackets, shirts or window decals.

You should copyright the final version. Or is that trade mark? :?:

I like this version better, less red is easier on the eyes. I like the plain english v. latin.

Looks good!

I like the second version more as well. They both look good, but my personal preference would be the second.

Lady Liberty is kinda' lost in the sea of red, white and blue. Otherwise, love it.
