Like the wisecracking little dog in the fast food commercial who can sniff out a chicken fajita from miles away, a loyal Chihuahua's sharp nose led a bounty hunter to his fugitive owner, who was on the lam from Jersey City.
The fugitive, who had skipped a September court appearance on a drug charge in Jersey City, hid himself in the closet of his new apartment, in Harrisburg, Pa., on Sunday when bounty hunters came knocking, according to Adel Mikhaeil, who was one of the bounty hunters.
But his Chihuahua, named Toto, missed its master and barked at the closet door until the man was in handcuffs and heading back to jail, said Mikhaeil.
