Sandra, I don't care who you were, but only who you are now. Fact is noone here really knows you. Only what others have written about you, or have perhaps seen in the media. I can tell you this for sure. Sniping at people regarding spelling errors or lashing out at other posters is not the best way to integrate or network with people in this business. This business is repleat with posers and those people who do this for a living generally are skeptical of people they don't know. If you are serious about this business as a profession then I wish you the best of luck. This board is an excellent resource.

hadley,
hate to disappoint, but that wasn't me. i'd never waste my time (nor my $$) making such a call. not only that, but i go to bed very early (8:30-9pm), and i'd never be up at 11:30 pm....unless i was working.
and to all of you who wrote to me on the 'side', i appreciate your kind words.

Rex, I appreciate the advice. I know the law very well and do not make statements that I can not back up. I am trying very hard to clean up this industry and to remove the term BOUNTY HUNTER from our profession. All I want is for people to pay their dues and to not falsify information to the media for financial gain.
In this matter I still see her work in the case files at my office and watched her approach a location with her back turned towards a subject who we knew was on parole. She just needs to work and develop a solid reputation, and if she can do that then hat's off to her!
Thank you
Dan

Dear Associates, freinds, and respected elders,
I have several observations, but I will attempt to maintain brevity.
1) CONTROVERSY: As Mr. Shell astutely observed, Mrs. Scott does thrive on attention and controversy. I suggest we simply drop this thread completely, and invest our resources into more productive activites such as catching the bad guys/girls.
2) PHONE CALLS: I, too, recieved a call from a woman from California asking me all about BEA work, who my California clients were, how she could get started in this business etc. However, she DID NOT identify herself as Mrs. Scott. But, we all know that Mrs. Scott enjoys playing games and using various and numerous aliase's so I beleived the female caller to indeed to be her. Again, though, I cannot PROVE this..it is merely my suspiscion.
3) SPELLING ERRORS: Mrs. Scott, I could virtually shred you all day long regarding your atrocious grammar, lack of proper punctuation/capitalization, etc. You have no room to correct anyone regarding the written word.
4) SECOND CHANCES: As has already been tiresomely stated and restated, none of us are angels. We all have our own demons and past mistakes we had just as soon forget about. But, the difference between us and Mrs. Scott is that NONE of us are utilizing the media for personal gain, clamoring for attention, and lying to the press about our qualifications and experiences.
If, however, Mrs. Scott deicdes to tone down her attitude and behaviour, begins taking this profession seriously, recognizes her role as a rookie, can take advice and direction from the established, recognized elders of this profession and pay her dues in this industry like the rest of us have, then she is entitled to that opportunity.
But judging by her performance so far I doubt that she is willing to follow the program. So again, I make my plea to this forum to simply drop this topic and move on. The more attention we give her, the more she benefits from it.
Also, 1 other thing to be aware of: Mrs. Scott is a published author on topics of another kind (We all know about them); She also has multiple websites, and she has 1 heck of a media promoter, so do not be surprised if she is "writing" a book on Bounty Hunting" and incorporating all of the ideas, tactics, laws, procedures, etc from this very forum.
Since we all post our comments here voluntarily, without compensation or any kind of protection from others copying our articles, it is entirely possible for an individual to simply print out all of these articles, modify a few words here and there, compile all of the articles into some sort of order, and then produce a "Bounty Hunting" book.
So do not be surprised that within the next year you see a book entitled "Sandra Scott: Professional Female Bounty Hunter" or "Bounty Hunting" by Sandra Scott.. a female tracker's guide into the world of bail enforcement.
Writers beware: Thieves are among us.....

my phone numbers are all 661 area code. sorry, not me.
anyhow, i am realizing that i am wasting my time here, since a majority of the posters suffer from a 'pack' mentality.
i will continue to correspond with those of you who have taken the time to get to know me via email.
for the rest of you, try using your OWN minds to form your OWN opinions based on your OWN experiences and truths, instead of following the pied piper like a bunch of mindless rats. useful information not only as it applies here on this forum, but in life in general.
you never know; you just may (eeee-gads!) find that you actually (gulp) LIKE me.
i invite any and all of you to join my forum "Tuffgirlz" which can be found at tuffgirlz.net
and Zeke, i really expected better of you. to say that i am disappointed in you is the understatement of the millenium.
be well, everyone.

Well!
I suppose this pretty much concludes this thread from the looks of it.
Dan: 10-4.
Mindtracker: think about what I shared with you via PM. No! Not that thing; the other thing
Sandra: I look forward to hearing about your BE exploits as they develop.
