HA HA scott,well i cant say alot on that one because i was born and raised in New York so i guess im what the southerners call a "damn yankee" pardon my language but it is what i have been called here in Tn.
I learned the difference between a "yankee"and a "damn yankee" not to long after i moved here and was told the joke at almost evey chance someone got the chance to in a conversation!!
Difference is....a yankee is a northerner that comes down south and goes back home,a damn yankee is a northerner that comes down south and doesnt want to go home!! or so i am told anyway.

Now you guys know it makes absolutely no difference what the wording is on the books... in the laws... in the code... it just doesn't matter... LE and the judges, the courts and the clerks dictate the laws that apply... whether they are written or not.... I can site dozens of examples of judges legislating from the bench... not enforcing the laws but legislating.... dictating their own laws and if you don't like it... you can appeal his/her decision at your own cost and time....

How many times do I say this on a daily basis.......... "The main rule of thumb is... there is no rule of thumb"

I had a judge tell me one time... "your a bondsman Mr. Marx, get used to it, this is the way it is... if you don't agree, appeal my decision..." This case was appealed and won after 2 years... and a $10k forfeiture that had been collected by mistake, was returned.... 2 years later.

We try to comply with the laws as they are handed down... but often times it makes no difference... none at all... "it doesn't matter if your right... it matter who you are in front of at the time..."

Sorry for being so negative here..... but .......... what can I say......... I'm goin' back to the kitchen for my 3rd. cup of mud... don't you kiddies wish you were retired so you could sit around all day and write dumb stuff on the computer and sip coffee... oh, and occasionally write a bond to keep gas in your boat!!
