Thanks Gene, Please call me when you get a chance, I need to recert for handgun and shotgun in both MD and VA. Tell me how many wheel barrows of moolah I have to bring and what pieces in the arsenal you want to play with! I have a really sweet Ruger .45 Old Army Black Powder Revolver w/ Pachmayr grips! They don't make these anymore and are very desirable 40 grains of BP (can't use smokeless) and a .457 round ball and it leaves the barrel at 950 to 1000 fps, lots of smoke and noise! Scott

Marlie took two bronze medals and one gold. The gold was in sparring and that is most important to me. Forms and breaking are so subjective that 2/10ths of a point separated the bronze from the gold. That's how close these competitions are. Sparring, Marlie scored three knockdowns and 9 points in six minutes. Winning Gold at this tournament garnered her an invitation to a six week study course at Yong-In University in Seoul, South Korea next year. That is from where Marlie's Grand Master graduated. She has a state tournament November 1st in Pigeon Forge. This is the same tournament that she won all around as an eight year old. Wish her luck!! P.S. Note to self: Next time Scott opens rhe door for me to brag on my daughter, just say, "She did OK".

Knock downs!
Since when did they go to full contact? When I studied and competed, we could only make light contact.
We did not have pads or gloves. If we caused any injury we were disqualified for lack of control.

Back to my favorite topic...ME! For you internet savvy folks, which search engines generate the most business for you? Google, Bing, Yahoo etc. Like all of you, I am watching every penny and trying to think outside of the box on advertising and business management. Times change and sticking to what did work will leave you in a pile of dung wondering what that smell is. Yellow page advertising is very expensive and does not work for me. I don't need any other partners in my business, unless they are willing to accept some of the risk, and they are not. The internet is working well for me. I have had to up my learning curve drastically, and should have listened to Scott Harrell 8 years ago. I was afraid of what I did not know, and not being a self professed computer geek, was already behind the 8 ball so to speak. Out of necessity, and having spent money on internet pros that did not produce, I have had to handle it myself, so much for delegating authority and responsibility! I am interested in your opinions, and those that do not wish to share your pearls of wisdom publicly, can email or pm me and I will respect your secrecy.
