Just because someone gives you 3-5, never give up! After being involved in a shooting, (GSW to right elbow dominant hand), doctors said I would never play guitar or sports ever again. I can do both! I know its not the same as getting a time frame to live, but no matter what the prediction, keep fighting it and live your life freely! Good luck to you and many blessings!

I don't take getting shot as humorous. I was shot in the right lower back during the same incident and almost lost my life as well. Maybe you need to rethink your words before putting them down! Also, you would think with your "credentials" as listed in your signature line you would be able to use punctuation a little better.

Before this gets any further down the road. I am sure nobody likes the fact someone got shot, what was said was meant as a joke, some would find it as so, some not. I get asked all the the time if i have quit smoking or something like that's what you get for lighting the wrong end of the cigarette. I found it to funny, Diana didn't see it that way. The Internet is bad about starting things as we can not see any expression on someones face so things can get out of hand. So any way thanks to everyone here, I found a way around the lighting the cigarette on the wrong end, I just tear the filter Off.  You talk about spelling and punctuation THANK GOD FOR SPELL CHECK

Its all good.

Sno,
Don't worry too much about the "shine". I'm getting a little thin in the back. The guys a ride bike with wouldn't ride behind me, said they went blind when the sun hit it just right! It's just part of "maturing". I figure all the hair is just sucking in and moving south!

Icer,
Been shaving it for so long, I'm not sure if it will grow back. It has been thin since I was 18 (runs in the family) but I haven't let it grow enough to see how "full" my head is. I'm good with it. Never even crosses my mind unless someone brings it up. Thanks for the support, though.

^^Now that is funny stuff^^ knowing your situation. Glad to see you can keep your since of humor. Let me know if I can do anything for you, brother.

......It has been said many times that not seeing an expression makes for uncomfortable situations (with the internet). I was stabbed and was listed as "dead" (that’s not the professional or technical term) for 1 minute and 48 seconds only a few years back. I don't find death, shootings, stabbings, choking’s, or laughter (as in "Your too funny. Your killing me") funny. I do, however, have to take it as a joke when my wife says "Don't make me finish the job that (the guy that stabbed me) started." Sometimes she will also say "He (the guy) couldn't get the job done. That only proves that IT DOES take a woman to get the job done, correctly" (these statements are always followed with a LOL) I have to brush those off.... When she says it or someone else. It’s not worth being angry, especially if it is my interpretation and not the intent that caused the anger. That is what I meant by my last post...."not more anger or hurt feelings over someone’s interpretation". Plus, I make as many mistakes as the next person. I just find that the point is more important than the punctuation, spelling, grammar, or what have you. Mark Cavendish used to, often, avoid posting due to his fear of making these types of mistakes and being called out for it (he told me this, himself) .... can you imagine all the tips, pointers, and education we missed out on because of that. Man, I miss him. (Love ya, my friend.)
