Thanks alot again for your advice mate your great help and know your stuff

Yeah i understand that in some states you need a license and i think i may fall into a bit of deep water here. i have been made aware in some states you require what I think is called a GED. in the UK I have the equivallent but i doubt it holds any water in the US.

How did you get into the business yourself mate ?

It would take days of typing and a novel full of space to explain it all.... I will just say persistance, networking, help from people like the ones on here, lots of information gathering, and (something that some forget to study and others learn from years of doing this) marketing skills, business ownership mentality, and a drive to break away from the TV and cowboy image. I hope this helps.

I don't know where you got your information regarding educational criteria. I have never heard of that before regarding the BEA industry. It may be true for law eforcement, military, and government positions, but not self-employed BEA's.

I've been in and out of the crimnal justice sector, public, private and government, since I was 17. Some military, some leo, rest self-employment gigs. I started in this particular field in 2000.

I got into this because my (now) estranged husband is prior military, and did some personal security detail (PSD) work when he came out. Events happened, and he needed a partner, so I finally agreed to work with him in a profession totally opposite the accounting that I was trained in. It took me a while, but I found that I could transfer my research skills into other areas, and worked my way into pretexting. Once I started writing bonds, I also brought forth my B*tch skills, in that I have requirements, and tell everyone like it is. My defendants know that I will work with them, but if they run, I will do whatever I have to to chase them down and put them back in jail. I'm honest, but I am tough. You screw me, and you go to jail. It's that simple.
