AGENT 992 you can not i repeat can not enter ny to make an apprehension unless you are a licensed ny bea.ny law states very plainly to operate as a bea you must be licensed in the state of ny no matter where the skip is from---again go to the law directory and read ny bea license law--so please educate yourself before you have problems you do not need--as a retired nypd detective i can tell you ny is deadly serious about bea.

In New York Private Investigators and their employees are also permitted to do BEA work and do not need a separate license as a BEA, the Private Investigators License must be issued in New York as NY does not recognize out of State PI Licenses.
I'm a licensed Bondsman in PA and in order for me to operate in NY I had to have an Associate in NY who is a licensed PI put me under his PI license as an employee.

you are 100% correct ny licensed pi can do bea in ny-agent 992 was told he could operate in ny if the skip was from out of state--that is completely incorrect-you must be licensed in ny(pi or bea) to operate in ny
