Good Afternoon;

I am looking for information on Delaware BEA training, and firearms training, i.e. school names, number of hours needed and such. I have read the Delaware State Code and know what is needed just not where to secure it. Thanks in advance for any assistance.

In Delaware, you are required to take the Bail Enforcement course at Delaware Technican and Community College. This course is only offered 2 times a year, next class is June 6th..then again in December. You register for this class through Del Tech. Cost is about $50 and is 3 or 4 hours. If they tell you the class is full - go there anyway - get there early and you have a good chance of getting a spot in the class.

Delaware State Police Licensing is who issues the badge and you sign up at the class to get your prints taken and badge issued. This is done in Dover.

You will be given a list of authorized/approved trainers for the certifications in Delaware. My company happens to be on the list: Carl Pace - TrinTac USA. We are authorized to teach OCAT, MEB, PATH and Firearms. A lot of the people listed only do training for their companies.

We also teach Success in Bail Enforcement classes, Hand-to-Hand Combat/Self Defense, etc.

If I can be of any further assistance, let me know.
