A Continuing Education Class will be held on May 30, 2008 in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee.

I will not be attending that one...they are hosting another one in July I think ? Just outside of Nashville, Tn. in Cookeville, Tn. That's only about 2 1/2 hrs from me.
With gas at $4/gallon, I can't justify driving all the way out to Pigeon Forge.

Zeke, will you be attending this event? Myself and at least 3 of my team members are going. And it looks like I'll be taking my wife and spending a few extra days there to celebrate our wedding aniversary. It sure will be nice to finally take a vacation. (even though my wife said if it wasn't for the TAPBA "thing" we probably wouldn't even go to Pigeon Forge)  Yea well, she might be right about that.

I will be attending the TAPBA conference in Pigeon Forge.Also there is some discussion about having two BEA classes in Tennessee this year.

That is kind of up in the air. I should have more information after the 30th. I can say that I have received several requests to do so, and even some support, but without the protracted episode I went through the last time, it is unlikely that it would be an independent class. If it materializes at all, it will most likely be done under the auspices of TAPBA.
I know they want to do a couple of BEA classes seperate from the bail classes, it's just that most of the board members are not educators and it is very dificult to teach a class like that to peers. Inevitably you will end up with the "What makes you so smart?" complex if you do not have all your ducks in a row. I do not really consider myself a real educator, but I am blessed to have friends who are.

Joe,
Your humility is noted. I always enjoy the opportunity of "picking your brain" when discussing this industry. I always come away from our encounters in utter awe and appreciation for all you have taught me and continue to do so. I know many people deem you an excellent educator and always enjoy attending your classes.
Whenever this is figured out, please let me kow so that I may attend the class that you are teaching.

Other than Joe, possibly, do we know who else will be teaching or will it be one main instructor for the whole class? I look forward to attending one of your classes Joe, I have heard many great things.
