Hi all
Scroll down for the story of an indecent human being who knowingly killed a dog and called it art. The story and the pictures are equally disturbing. Something must be done to stop indecent people from preying on those who have no recourse against them. Please take a minute to sign this petition, then forward it to everyone in our address book so that this indecent behavior is stopped. PS I looked this up, and it is terrifyingly and unfortuantely real. Please sign this petition. Then pass it ont o everyone you know.
This is a very serious matter...
In 2007, the 'artist' Guillermo Vargas Habacuc, took a dog from the street, tied him to a rope in an art gallery, and starved him to death.
For several days, the 'artist' and the visitors of the exhibition have watched emotionless the shameful 'masterpiece' based on the dog's agony, until eventually he died.
Does it look like art to you?
But this is not all... the prestigious Visual Arts Biennial of the Central American decided that the 'installation' was actually art, so that Guillermo Vargas Habacuc has been invited to repeat his cruel action for the biennial of 2008.
PLEASE HELP STOP HIM.

It's free of charge, there is no need to register, and it will only take 1 minute to save the life of an innocent creature.
** I've just asked my two beautiful friends & consultants as to how and if I should post these pictures on here as this whole thing stinks and makes me sick. If it was to me, I go over and cut off this idiots head, drop it on a pedestal and show off some Yak art.
** Thanks for YOUR SIG ................... Yak

From the petition, it looks like Honduras...if that's the case, humane laws are seriously lacking in that country..anyone tried to hurt Kelsey, they'd have to deal with me...

I agree! Anybody tries to hurt any of my babies, or any other innocent creature, I would have no problem putting out of their reason for living.

and some wonder "why" I prefer animals . . . sheesh !
I am thinking that a Prime Piece of Art would be . . . the dumb shi* hanging from a rope til he starved to death . . . now I am thinking . . . YEP ! that would be Art.

Sorry,
I can't stomach anything like that. I have enough trouble sleeping as it is.
A few weeks ago I read a news story on Yahoo about the foreclosure crisis nationwide. 1 of the casualties of this issue are abandoned pets.
Animals intentionally and deliberately being locked in closests, basements, bedrooms, laundry rooms, etc, no food or water or access to the outside and eventually starving, dying of thirst and going mad.
Because they are so closed up people can't hear thier cries or barks, after awhile, they can't bark as thier voices become sore and hoarse from lack of water.
Police and Humane investigators have found carcasse's in some of these homes and seen where the animals have chewed, clawed, and tried to dig thier way out and also where they had eaten the walls and door frames, out of sheer panic and hunger.
I wish I had never read that story...it still haunts me to no end.
I know it doesn't happen, but if I were a cop in any of those cities who discovered 1 of these situations, I would track down the previous owner...
Enough said.

There is absolutely no excuse for allowing such treatment of innocent creatures. Even if a person can no longer take care of their pets, they can take them to an organization that will either adopt them out or at least humanly put them down. I just cannot accept allowing an innocent creature to suffer and die in such cruel conditions.

A society can be judged on the compassion given to it's elderly and the helpless. When half the world starves and the other half is morbidly obese, you have to ask yourself, what is wrong with this picture? When cruelty pervades all aspects of life, its a world gone wrong.
Mankind has evolved intellectually but has fallen far behind in emotional evolution. Not sure where this will lead us...but I don't see a good outcome at this juncture. I can't bring myself to even view the photos.
