went to a few differant book and magazine stores, looking for any kinds of magazine(s) related to bailbonds/Bail enforcement etc.

No one seems to know of any and, no one that works at any of these places can find anything in any of their databases.

any suggestions for some sort of, monthtly magazine?

thanks, Rick.

to see whats going on in the industry, outside of arkansas, since its discouraged here to use the word "bail enforcement" or other like terms.

The only articles of news on bail or bail enforcment are from the differant state associations most of them have a monthly news letter here in Indiana it is The Indiana Surety Bail Agents Association, Inc. I don't recall there ever being a magazine on this subject and i have been in this business on year number 17.

LAW, you have been in this business awhile do you ever remember anything like a Magazine.

Regards,

In my 21 years I have never seen nor heard of a magazine that was credible regarding bail enforcement. All I've ever seen were 'newsletter' type periodicals but I long ago lost tract if any are still available. As concerns the bail industry the only one I've seen is one put out to its members by PBUS. I forgot the name of the darn thing but it never contained anything interesting to me anyway. I don't see where a magazine devoted to bail enforcement would be able to float financially due to a restricted readership parameter.

Occasionally I come across S.W.A.T. in my local 7-Eleven. Maybe we could have them add an article or column on Fugitive Recovery? Just a thought.

I think that bail enforcement is well covered by Internet forums such as this one, and, because of this, I doubt that a newstand magazine would make it if it were soley a bail enforcement magazine due to the rapid input of information versus the 2-3 month lag time on a publication.

If anyone's got a million bucks to invest, I'd be willing to contribute to such a venture however.

Rex
