The California Research Bureau, a division of the CA State Library has completed its mandated survey of the CA PC 1299 Bail Fugitive Recovery Person Act.

Several of the veteran posters on this site provided information used in the report. Although this only covers CA law, it uses information from other States, the United States Constitution, other surveys and books on the subject.
It will have a big impact on how CA updates its bail recovery laws.
