Ric,
In reference to any Harco bond you can contact me directly at anytime for questions and answers. As I do not know you and I do not believe you to be directly contracted with SAI I am limited as to the information I can provide you however, if a problem exists I am more than willing to work with you and the contracted agent who "passed" you the case to resolve any issues related to Harco recovery matters.
It has been my experience that while in most cases the longer a defendant has been in the wind the harder they are to capture it also has worked exactly opposite. They become comfortable, lazy etc and start to believe no one is looking for them. They pop up in old hangouts, neighborhoods and family addresses. Persistence pays off in this industry and many BEA's will keep a case on a back burner for these same reasons. The bottom line...as long as remission time is available, an active warrant is found and there is good info on defendant and co-signer a case should be worked for possible apprehension.

Most informative only because the questions related to bonds SAI is 3rd party administrator for. It was my pleaseure speaking with you and clearing these issues up. If there is anyhting I can do in the future please do not hesitate to call me.
When it comes to BEA questions refer to the true professionals found here in order to steer you in the correct direction not from people trying to sell you something at a school or class. These people just handed you cases because that is what they promised you....work. Always check your facts, then check them again. If it seems to good to be true...it often is.

Guys, come on. Rick is new. He didn't know Don or that he was affiliated with Harco. For that matter, I know Don from the forum, but since his sig is SAI, I would not have associated the two either. All Rick knew was that an agent he was working for gave him a bad file, okay several bad files. He had also gotten good files from this agent so how was he to know these weren't legit? He got suckered. He fixed it.
Having said this, IF Rick had not made the post, he would not have gotten the response from Don and would still be working those files, some of which are dead, but some are still legitimately being worked by Don's agents.
Stop and think about it. If he hadn't made the post, he may have inadvertantly screwed up other's investigations. By making it, he got the necessary information to see that he did not have the authority to work the files, and a very rude awakening about his employer. He has also been accused of insulting Don and degrading his company. I reiterate, he did NOT know Don or his affiliation to Harco when he made the post. Now he does, has spoken with Don, and has great respect for him.
Instead of instantly jumping to conclusions, everyone should take the time to find out why a person feels as they do. Instead of automatically assuming that a person is insulting another's business, find out if they even know the person they are accused of insulting.
I repeat, he got suckered. He fixed it. He may have lost his primary source of business, but his ethics will eventually win out. Give him a chance...

To add to Kathy's post -
I have spoken to Ric and the matter has been taken care of...as far as he is concerned. Not only was he forthright with the information he had but he also took the time to provide me with further information to help alleviate this problem by providing names and phone numbers of the persons giving out the Harco files. He has/had a genuine interest in correcting the issue and should be given credit where that is concerned. As most would have come out speaking ill of Harco files and then just faded away. It shows his commitment and in this day and age that is usually in short supply.
I never took the postings as an insult however; I did want to make it clear to everyone that the situation was not created by the operating procedures in place at SAI. Ric was only voicing his frustration at what appeared to be a lack of interest/communication from Harco. Being relatively new to the business we can not fault him for not knowing the relationships between Harco, SAI and me.
We were all new at one time or another and that is how I found this forum. It has been and continues to be a great learning tool. Ric made the post got the answers he needed and learned from it. I say congrats to him....even if it means more work for me...LOL.
