I am interested in a career as a recovery agent. I am wondering how to get started. Should i consider a fugitive recovery academy, aprenteceship.

I have seven years exp as a law enforcement officer/k9 narcotics officer and i am currently conducting background investigations for govt agencies.

any advice/help would be greatly appreciated. Dan.

If you have been in law enforcement as you stated I am sure you would have not problem doing Bail Recovery operations.
I myself have been a police officer/military and now currently operating a Private Investigation, security and bail recovery agency.
With your background I feel you will more then likely be a good asset to any company.
The key word to bail recovery is common sense.
Good luck, and be safe friend.
