Reminds me of when I was in my late teens/early 20's, working as a crime scene investigator for the Pinellas County Medical Examiner's Office. As most here know, the M.E.'s Office has the final say so on any death.
I rolled out on a call 1 night where the victim had been stabbed 37 times in the back. When I arrived, the PD already had the suspect in cuffs and sitting in the backseat of a unit. Being the smartazz I am, after investigating the scene, I announced, "This is the worse SUICIDE I have ever seen".
And I thought cops had a good sense of humor. I almost got fired.
