Good luck with that. California is into its 2nd full year of virtually the same program in many counties. We have already had several murders committed by the so called "non Violent" criminals released on EM.

Including one guy that went out and raped and murdered his grandmother!

It's interesting to note that there is no mention in this article of the expenses for increased staff and new equipment. Also, G.P.S. ankle monitor devices can be tampered with and removed. Some of the higher-end models will send a notification to the monitoring agency whenever this occurs. In my opinion, this approach is not going to be "making the public even safer." Crime will spike, just as it already has here in California. Keep a keen eye on this issue...things are going to get worse before they ever get better...

We have a Bail Association meeting this Sept 4th at 11am to discuss the issues..

This idea sounds like a total mess waiting to explode...

I will let ya all know how the meeting goes...although this looks like it is going to happen with or without the Bail Bond say so..
