Sometimes folks get greedy and simply write stupid . . . when they do . . . they should pay. No free passes here where I work. Got one that wrote a 60K knowing the person was a Mexican National and would go back . . . FTAd and Judge gave them a continuance (30 days) then they turn around and write a 100K for the same kind of shyt (ICE, not the Entity) for yet another MN . . . They put 16K in their pocket . . . I say cut the check frickin losers. Hearing is Wednesday . . . hope they bring their checkbook.
There is a Moral of the Story . . . Greed will get your ass every time

Well - I'd say the moral is write tight.
If you don't and they skip - hire a professional to bring them back.
Unfortunately, this wasn't the case.

"You write the bond, you roll the dice".... good or bad... even the good ones can go south... I write damn tight and yet... they sometimes just go south... often literally...
... anyone can fill out the papers, the difference that makes or breaks a bondsman is what happens when defendants 'go ghost'.
This website can be a very major help in these matters. as Phil said, give it to a professional and step back.
