Living in America - a new documentry

Barry Wirt of Texas Bounty Hunters was the focus of a documentary to be aired on April 8th “Living in America” is the title of the show. The documentary being shot across the U.S. follows the lives of people who were affected by the recession. What they are doing to survive and earn a paycheck. We spent the day with the production crew and Domenico Nesci the host of the series. Domenico is an MTV personality and Italian TV host. The show is being filmed by an Italian crew and will be shown in Italy in English with Italian subtitles. The network in the U.S. that will air the show is yet to be determined. Discovery Channel, A.E. or Real T.V. are some possibilities.

Barry Wirt, Veronica Perez and Charlie Deckert participated in the filming on 1/27/2011. Texas Bounty Hunters were followed by the film crew as they got new cases and worked them. Give you a Break Bail Bonds of Williamson County TX was involved in the process as Joe Patrick owner assigned new cases to Texas Bounty Hunters and was also able to tell the story of how he went from construction to bail bonds in an effort to overcome the housing crash. Domenico Nesci and the crew followed Texas Bounty Hunters, Barry Wirt and Charlie Deckert as they worked a case and interviewed individuals associated with the case.

The documentary has less to do with bounty hunting and more to do with how Americans are finding ways to survive in a down economy; the focus will be on some of the more unusual or creative ways we are doing it.

I will post more information as the air date gets closer. I am sure you will all be pleased with the content, we were conscience of the industry and the type of perception we wanted to portray. No cowboy antics, no bad talking the defendants. It was very calm and professional. Borderline boring, but isn't it mostly that way anyway? LOL...
