State Rep. Robin Vos said that it would help ensure defendants show up for court dates, making the court system more efficient.“People not showing up for court is a huge cost for local governments,” Vos said. “This is something that is used in almost every state in the country.”

Ghee, how refreshing are those words....

I just posted a little something, which I am fairly sure will convince no one of anything as it would appear that opinions have already been formed... hopefully maybe one or two will think a bit....

... added next day...

Tony, I think you for the most part and I in a smaller way, have maybe influenced some of the posters on that paper. I think misinformation is the problem with just about anything you can think of... certainly our industry. We just have to keep the truth out there and tell it in a calm and pointed way... maybe it will get through to some of the "emotional" posters.

Thank you for your professionalism in representing our industry... members like you, Scott, Gene, Steve, Mike, Dave, Yak, LuVonda, Randall... (too, too many to name on here... ) and so, so many others is what helps us hold the line against the detractors and those that would remove our industry... and replace it with a bureaucratic government agency that ultimately feeds on itself and very likely accomplishes nothing.

Knuckle Draggers, that is rich! What offends me is the pseudo intellectuals that post comments based on fantasy with no knowledge or facts to support their position.

Nice work fella's! i am going to go and drag my knuckles around the yard...

Scott
