Mildly entertaining

I came across these websites a few years ago; the newspaper articles are somewhat interesting.

And then there's the old story of the U.S. Marshal returning to Ft. Smith, Ark. in the late 1800s after a foray into Indian Territory looking for an outlaw. He seemed extremely happy so someone asked him "Marshal, did ya git yer man?"

"Nope, but I rode clean through the Territory without gittin' shot!"
