Mark,

No, there isn't. However, whomever the LEO is that is assigned to the case can secure a search warrant for those records from the financial institution the card is tied to.

Well,

If you have the statement, it should show what stores, gas stations, restaurants, etc where he used the card. So you already should know where he has been recently.

All of my cc statements show the city where the charge was made.

We have had very good luck going to the financial institutions themselves. The bond company we do work for requires the applicant to put down their financial information. ( not that they always put down the correct info ) At the bottom of the bond agreement it is stipulated that they waive their rights to confidentiality if they violate the terms of the bond. Example: I went to a bank, showed them the bond agreement, and they gave me a printout of where the credit card was being used. Found out the subject recently purchased a power steering hose for one of their vehicles from an auto parts store. When I went to the store with the information ( date, time, amount ) the auto store gave me the part number and what vehicle it was for. Not too far away was the subjects friends house. The vehicle was in the back yard and the subject was inside. Done deal.

Be careful...pretexting a financial institution is against the law!

Are their PI's with access to banking data, absolutely, but permissible cause must be iterated,
to include information disclosure waivers.

I have heard of people that checked their own statements for detail on line...
