If there are any repo people out there, what is the average rate one charges a bank for recovering their collateral (car)?
My understanding is a percentage of the note left on the vehicle plus expenses.

The national average for repoing a car is 364.00. The fee varies from bank to bank the minimum local recovery we have completed is $250.00. We consider local within a 30 Mile radius. Anything outside local is additional charge.
There would also be different fees for for different types of equipement such as Heavy Equipment, Boats, Planes, Tractor & Trailors and so on.
Hope this is of some assistance to you!
Good Luck!
