Unconfirmed reports indicate that New York Drug Enforcement Task Force arrested seven people as they attempted to kidnap, rob and torture an alleged drug dealer.
In and of itself, this would not have caught my attention had strikingly similar credentials, shirt and I think raid jackets to that of USRB not have been collected from two of the arrested subjects.
As a direct result of this incident, law enforcement is being urged to consider that they may be confused with drug rip off schemes.
This carries on over to BEAs. None of us want to be confused with law enforcement for one and a rip off crew for another.
More information should be available after arraignment, and I hope that there is no USRB link as the lumping process may engulf the trade in general in the media--who knows?
Does anyone have anything else on this?
