Ruffin, Scott is right "this too shall pass" since December 06 there have been two new companies register here in my county. Normally I strive to "write" them out of business here - but this time I don't think that I have too much to worry about as they are both taking care of that themselves - already the first bond writtten by each of the two are FTA's in Circuit - one to the tune of 15K the other 25K I refused both bonds as the individuals were flight risks - need I say more

Luvonda,
As Scott Harrell says, you must learn to plunder! Approach them for their recovery work, you will get paid anyway! You gross the same amount as if you would have written the bond, you are not paying a BUF account or insurance fees, and you have no liability!
God I love this business! Buddy, you sure showed me who was the man when you wrote that bond, please allow me to dry those tears! The check is written out to Chesa...
Scott

I like Scott H's theory . . . but the majority of companies have their own in house skip tracers. IF the bondsperson did their job correctly then their skip tracer should not have too difficult a time locating the skip. However, IF the bondsperson did what they usually do, and wrote for the money . . . then I hope that they are aware of the fact that this county does enter judgement and frowns on bondspersons that do not do their job.

Well ladies and gents the two bonds in question are back in jail. I had not previously mentioned companies by name as a personal and professional courtesy
BUT today after the 2nd one was returned I received an E-mail - obviously the one party wants to make sure they are known.
The first Bond was 25 K written by Bail Bonds Now out of Mtn Home, AR.
Agent Hadden Jefferies
taken into custody by LEO on 02-04-07
the COMPANY is not NEW to the County the AGENT IS
The second bond was 15 k (according to the jail) and was written by Triple R out of Ashflat, AR.
Agent Jan Eakin
that one was returned to the jail 02-09-07
BOTH Fta'd on 12-21-06
FOLLOWING IS THE E-MAIL SENT TO MYSELF FROM JAN EAKIN
Fri, 9 Feb 2007 18:05:23 -0800 (PST) From: "jan eakin" <eakinjan@yahoo.com> Subject: New Bail Bond Company In Town To: luvonda2001@yahoo.com
LuVonda, I know you post on Fugitive Recovery About the $15000 for Triple R Bail Bonds the New Bail Bond Company in town and think we are going to pay and they get all the trash. First of all It's $ 7500.00. Well I just had to let you know that Texas released her to us yesterday and Triple R is returning her body today so we don't have to pay so that will be posted in Fugitive Recovery. That's the work of the new Bail Bond company in town. So why don't you quit slamming. You say that you don't speak of us people but you do. We knew where she was at but had to wait until they would release her. You should know we were on top of it I have the best recovery man there is. He used to work for J.E. And A.T.F was helping us all along. And from what we understand the $25000.00 is J.E.'s or Bryce's so I don't under why you speak of us. You should know how Texas works. Cleburne County said that Triple R did a very good job for staying on top of things.
So kudos to Bob Donnellan (HoundDog) and Jan Eakin of Triple R Bail Bonds!!!!
And Kudos to our very own LEO's in Cleburne County for the recovery of Bail Bond NOW's fta.
Of course there are new charges on that one now - fella just can not seem to keep his hands off what does not belong to him

LOL, if they want to defend themselves from their claimed derogatory posts, why aren't they on here posting? Hmmm, maybe because they don't have the reputation and contacts to back them up? And because those of us who know and respect each other are skeptical of others who we don't know?
Granted, this area is private, but all others are public. Despite personal opinions or preferences, if a person meets the criteria, they are allowed in here. So, this person had the opportunity to post a rebuttal in the public arena (even though no names or companies were named), or if qualified could have requested access to the private area. Sounds like sour grapes or a guilty conscience to me.
It reminds me of a letter that I got from the bondsman that I used to write for, trying to use a post that I had made on another forum about our relationship and his illegal activities, but which gave no names or company. It only gave me further support in my case that he recognized himself and responded accordingly. It never ceases to amaze me how some people are so self centered and self righteous that they fall into traps and convict themselves before a real accusation has been made.
Just a personal observation, if you allow emotions to overrule common sense, you will always lose. This is detrimental in everyone's life, but especially in ours' where a level head is one of the most important skills that we respect in each other. "Hot" heads have no place here, whether it be personal or working a file for another.

The "best" recovery agent is whomever is cashing their check at the moment.

Do BEA's get paid in money. The last time I got paid by a Bail Bondsman I got a Flat screen t.V., two tickets to willie Nelson and a gift certificate to the REd Lobster.
