Hey Y'all am a new member and found this board to have alot of information and have read alot of posts on here. I live in Virginia and wanted to start a career as a bail enforcement agent. I just had a couple of questions concerning VA. I was a volunteer cop in va without getting paid but decided that i wanted to first be a bea. Does being a voluntary cop disqualify me as being a bea in va or any state? Also can you be a cop and a bea agent at the same time in va? Do you have to wait a couple of years to be a bea after being a cop. Can someone please answer all my questions concerning all my questions.
