Yesterday I was operating my contracting business, and was verbally harrassed and terroistic threats were made to me. Words were exchanged and I told the little man to come on over to where I was standing *Customers property, from which I am under contract with* And the little man just stood on his property running his mouth, finally he gave up and cowarded back to his house.
I was wondering what can be done on a legal stance? Words from him were *cocksucker* *I'll kick your ass*, verbal abuse, terroistic threats. All this stemmed from a stone that I allegedy tossed off into the woods which inadevertanly rolled down a tiny slope unto a rock gravel road, crazy huh? I would like to know if any on an authoritive point of view could be executed. All in all it was an exchange of words, but a terroistic threat was made to me, but the little man was too much of a coward to come close and follow through on it, in this case step onto the property from which I was standing.
As far as future encounters, I feel there is a possibility of a repeat situations. Just wanted to seek out any input.

If you feel that this could escalate into possible harm to you our others on the jobsite, our the possibility of of equipment being tampered with you would be well advise to contact your local Police Department

I agree with making a police report, that way if something else should come up, it will already be on record - the previuos incident.
