We have a client who wants to track his workers vehicles while on the job. Real Time tracking would be prefferable. Has anyone had experience with any particular devices that work well? I have seen a few online, but I would rather get some "real world" advice instead of sales pitches.

I did a web search a couple of years ago on this and a company called Fleet Trax (Sp?) had exactly what you are looking for. The pricing was very reasonable and it was a fixed GPS for each vehicle in the fleet.
