I need your help with a project that I am working on...recently all of the Los Angeles County criminal courts obtained a new telephone system. In doing so, almost all of their telephone numbers were changed. I am currently working on obtaining the new telephone numbers updating my list with the new telephone numbers for the criminal court clerks. I am willing to share the updated version of this list with anybody who provides assistance to me with this endeavor, which is actually one helluva bargain because my list contains the telephone numbers for all of the criminal court clerks in the entire state of California. Whenever you need to status check bail bonds, this is indeed your master "GO-TO" list. There is no better or user-friendly source for obtaining this information...bar none. I am currently in need of the telephone numbers for the criminal clerk offices for the following Los Angeles County court houses: Central Arraignment Courts, East Los Angeles, Hollywood, Chatsworth, Catalina, Compton, Bellflower, Beverly Hills and Santa Monica.

The California Court Association in San Leandro, CA publishes a court directory each December. It costs $28. It also includes the District Attorneys, Sheriffs, Clerk Recorders, Assessors, Probation, CA Court of Appeals, CA State Prisons, DMV County Codes and all the cities ad towns in CA and some Federal courts contact info. For the amount of info, $28 is a bargain. www.calcourt.org

Thank you for sharing that information. The telephone system transition was finalized extremely recently (approximately four weeks ago) and I do not want to wait until next year's publication in order to obtain the desired information.

Understandable,
When our local courts changed their numbers, they at least had a voice mail notifying callers of the new numbers for a few months.

Well, that is rather thoughtful and the type of "planning ahead" that is usually practiced by solid, customer service-driven private enterprises. Apparently, this type of service is too much to ask of the Los Angeles County Superior Courts...gotta love it...

On the other hand, when the county jails changed their numbers, they did not notify anyone.
We had to go to the jail to get the new bail info phone number.
