Last year, a reseracher from the University of California, Davis contacted the California Bail Agents Association in regards to a study that he would like to conduct on the bail bonding "industry."
I was going through old emails and found his initial request and contacted him to see what the status of his project was.
Evidently no one stepped up to participate in it. So, I thought with all that is going on today regarding pre trial release service agencies competing with bail, maybe a new study proving the effectiveness of bail may help our cause.
I have attached his letter of request. Please look it over.
