Looking around the web the other day and came across a site that has a pretty good page reflecting a lot of interesting links that we all have looked for over the years.

I am not promoting this organization but the links within it are pretty good. You judge for yourself.

Bill, the only issue with some of these sites is that they were current when written and may not be current when you need the information. This is why I am so strong on state provided court links to teach people how to do their research.

We are experiencing a generation of people who demand to be spoon fed. Just look at all of the introductory posts, 80% are either asking or demanding to be taught this craft and the remainde have performed their due diligence.

Yeah, the links on these sites are just for reference... maybe to help the newbies gain the info they might need.... but you are certainly right about 'wanting to be spoon fed'.... always the easy road for many.... but this is not the industry that has an easy road... fools a lot of them right "out of the shoot" (old rodeo term)...

Did I ever tell you that my Dad rode 'broncs' in Texas back in the day?... sure did... anyway... lots of these links are simply to the state sites/links and only provide direction, not specific 'dated' info...

The American Bail Coalition is made up of surety companies and some other interested parties. Now, that is not a bad group.

They have been working behind the scenes in Oregon, Wisconsin and Illinois to get surety bail back into those states.

If anyone needs help in their state, the ABC may be able to help with legislation. They have the political contacts.

Dennis Bartlett is the exec director and good person to know.
