There needs to be more TV shows out showing the real work BEA's do. My first real exposure to what the business is was the show family bonds on HBO with Tom Evangelista. Well I feel it was to focused on the family It showed you what I believe BEA work is skip tracing, surveillance and leg work. Also it showed you that you are not gonna catch someone all the time. Whereas Dog and his gang some how capture enough skips to film episodes faster then a non reality tv show takes. I am not suggestion A TV series on one specific BEA but maybe a few specials showing the training and other things involved. maybe it will clear up the convoluted minds of some people who watch DOG and thinks wow this is easy work. Now I may be way off base with this post where I am not involved in BEA work however, I feel I have a pretty good understanding of what is involved and having worked as a skip tracer for collections companies I can appreciate the work the is involved in locating a debtor never mind a fugitive. Well that is my take I hope I didn't offend anyone.

I know for a fact that there are shows in the Works about exactly what you said Matt. Some are already in the can as the say waiting for a network to pick it up and others are already in the develpoing stage of the process. American Bounty Hunter from Champion Entertainment is already in the can as for the others I can't talk about them at this time. As I said in a previous post in the media world there are a lot of snakes ready to steal an idea away from anyone.

I will be on the look out for more shows involving the true BEA work. It is rare that I take such an interest in something that I am not involved in at all but ever since I found this site I want to learn all I can. I have told my wife that I want to receive LAW fugitive recovery bible and some materials from REX for Christmas now lets hope she follows through. I am trying to get a full understanding of the business so when I am in the position of being able to handle the sporatic pay I can then attempt to go into the industry with a true knowledge of it.
