http://www.prisontalk.com/...has it that "Mecklenburg Correctional Center" in Boydton, Va. is closing... if that takes place it will mean a loss of over 300 jobs.... on the same note... a new facility in Brunswick county... "Meherrin River Regional Jail" is scheduled to open next summer near the small town of Alberta. It just so happens that my little company is the closest to that jail. We are already doing a bit of advertizing in the Dinwiddie/Brunswick/Petersburg/Colonial Heights area. This new facility is rather large and will no doubt put a bit of competition in my rural area, but that's ok... we can handle it... should be plenty for all.
