I cant exactly remember the brand, but its a 3a threat protection, and I also got an extra ballistic plate, it should be now close to a threat level 4, from what the guy said, I got one thet opens from the side. I didnt think that the from opening one would be the best one to get. the vest is costing me 1200.00, I dont think thats too bad of a deal.
I'm also buying a 12 guage from the same guy.
I got an extremly large bond the other day, I can afford to buy all the equipment I ever wanted and needed, now.
Its the little things like bullet proof vests, that make me happy.

Rick don't you get the warm fuzzies from a good bullet resistant vest? you did good i can not see buying anything less than 3a unless you wear it all day-we only wear ours when we tact up before hitting an address-
Remember it does you no good if you do not wear it--also store it in flat dry area do not fold it -the creases cause weak spots also uv light degrades the material with time--I used to get all the turn in vests from my squad and glue the panels in my cruiser(behind the door panels -lined the trunk-into the seat back under the upolstry etc)

Hgun, yeah I looked into all my options for a a few weeks trying to decide what I need, as of right now, I have 15,000 dollars to spend or invest in equipment for the job, I did a 500,000 dollar bond last week.
next week, going to buy a Honda passport SUV, i'm having GPS put in it.
also buying a 12 gauge, and a 9mm, and some Night vision binoculars, and some other toys, I can write off when tax time comes around for my job.
and i'll be coming to your training, in the spring like we discussed.

Rick,
Congratulations on your success !!
You may want to look at GT Distributors for additional equipment. They just took in a complete pd trade in on side arms. They traded thier Glock 17's in. So GT's now has these weapons for sale at app $340.oo for the pistol, and 3 15 rd mags.
Also, you may want to consider banking some of that money against future issues such as lawsuits, hard times, extended man hunts, or foreign country bribes.
Just my 2 cents worth.
Ruffin.

I have a taser that delivers 100,000 volts
Yikes!
the girl is on a GPS tracking anlet.
she is only to be with one of four people, 24 hours a day, if i call any of those people and she is not with any 4 of them, her bond is revoked immediately,
and her lawyer told me to do that, as part of the conditions of her bond.
she calls me twice a day.
she has a curfew.
and randomly once a week she is driug tested.
we have a lean on most of the guys property,
and a lean against his assets, as per the bond states.
and the best part she lives with her lawyer,
and he gives me daily reports on her.

All I can say about this girl and situation (yes I know about her) is that we flat out turned her down for good reasons. I wish Rick the best and, he needs to check out the co-signers 2 web sites that he conducts business on. The banking one was out of order right after he wired them the money. I hope for you and the company you work for that she shows for all her courts if not give me a call.
Hey Rick did you know that she turned down a plea? She was offered 10 years on a murder case and turned it down. The witness against her is another bondsman that is going to testify that she told her that she did it. This same bondsman (women) is the one that went to the sheriff and gave a statement that caused her to be arrested. I am not saying that she is guilty because I do not trust this certain bondsman at all.
