1st. Annual FRN Convention- Las Vegas

Well, FRNCON 2011 is now in the past. Taking place in famous Las Vegas at the renowned Golden Nugget Hotel and Casino.

In my opinion, it was a great success, there was a good turnout from all over the country and Tony Suggs as the coordinator did an outstanding job.

Speakers included Scott MacLean, owner of Chesapeake Bail Bonds, also a licensed Maryland Private Investigator and a frequent contributor and author for his several businesses including of course the bail industry and private investigations. Scott always provides extremely informative information related to our industry.

Scott Harrell, Editor-in-Chief, Pursuit Magazine; Owner, CompassPoint Investigations and Laura Khoury from IRBsearch.com a major data retrieval company. The Golden Nugget was a perfect place, with great food, excellent accommodations and a casino that provided much in the way of entertainment...

I'm pretty tired right now so I will bow out and work on this tomorrow. I just wanted to let the members know that a write up will follow in a short time. Hopefully all will find it rather interesting.

Well, I wish all on this site could have been there... I have a facebook account that has most of the pictures, I am trying to fix it so anyone can view the pics... so far, I have not been able to do that... I will continue to work on it. I have a couple of other options that I am working on to make these pictures available without having to post all of them on here.

PS: Anyone interested in asking for my friendship on facebook can have access to my picture albums which of course include the Vegas trip. Just run a search for Bill Marx, Sr. and you should be able to find me without too much trouble. Ask for my friendship on there and as long as your not on the wall at the post office or a petafile... I will probably give you access.

Next week or so, I will send out feelers for an east coast or midwest location. I think early June is still the best time to get the cheapest hotel and meeting room rates.

The ideal location would be easy to fly into or easy drive from major airport. Cheap but good rooms and some onsite of nearby entertainment.

But then Bill, Scott and Scott, were very entertaining by themselves.

Will keep everyone informed!
