 Post subject: Does agency exist?

Hi!

I have been dating a guy for awhile who claims he is a fugitive recovery agent employed by the federal agency FREA (Fugitive Recovery Enforcement Administration). He comes home with stories about having to chase people down, transporting people to and from different jails in different counties, going undercover in drug operations, busting drug operations, etc. I have seen nothing to prove he is telling the truth. My question is, is he making any of this up? Does the FREA exist? Please help!!

lol. Wow, I wish my days were that exciting. I normally sit in traffic all day so that I can sit in front of a house for the rest of the day (and night).

Maybe their a division of the US Recovery Bureau ? another private company pretending to be a government agency, so this guy is suppossed to be a fugitive recovery agent and he claims to be doing drug busts, that's interesting since fugitive recovery agents have no such authority and would not get paid to do drug busts unless they were ripping off drug dealers like those USRB people in NYC.

Thanks for all the replies. From what I've researched as well, I've suspected he is not telling the truth. I've asked if he is with the Marshals (because of the type of his adventures), and he keeps telling me he is not. It hasn't made sense to me that his agency would exist if they were doing the same thing as the Marshals. Anyway, I guess I just needed the opinion of people who are really in the business.
