Were Mr. Stiles still in that position you would know that there is no Taylor law. What you are referring to is a Supreme Court opinion, Taylor v. Taintor. You should Google it and read the entire opinion so that you are well versed. Law enforcement is under no obligation to share information with you, you are not law enforcement. As an investigator, you are to do just that and develop your own information. Lastly, the TN Bureau of Investigation is a State Agency, not Federal, as you stated.
Please do not take offense, but understand that you lack training and a complete understanding of this business. May I suggest that A) Take Scott Harrell's class on
