a Huntsville police officer was shot and killed yesterday afternoon during a domestic disturbance in the parking lot of one of our local restaurants.
The officer, upon arrival at the scene, was shot once in the head, then the subject approached the officer, stood directly over him execution style, and emptied his .357 magnum revolver at point blank range into the officer's head.
The subject then took flight from the scene, but was later apprehended in a city wide manhunt using all available resources, including K-9 units.
The officer was later pronounced officially deceased at our local hospital. He is survived by his wife and child. He was only 27 yrs old.

I hate to hear that type of thing. I hope they crucify the SOB!

I agree that it is crazy, I also hate it when a P.O. is killed. I like Hgunner have been to way to many funerals of fallen officers myself. My heart felt condolences to his family and the Huntsville PD for their loss.
