Oh believe me, you're not the first one in disbelief at this. I didn't even know it was that uncommon to have a double stacked 1911. When I bought it, it was the firearm that I felt the most comfortable holding, and who doesn't like extra magazine capacity?

Molded holsters are sometimes a pain to find as a standard 1911 holster can be a bit of a tight fit near the grip where the frame widens ever so slightly, and finding new magazines is a bit of a chore as the store clerk 90% of the time says "What do you mean 'doublestacked magazine?'..." Other than those two items, every other part is identical to a typical 1911.

Ok... here is a little something I picked up the other day... a really nice little practice and fun gun... excellent quality, low price, cheap to shoot, great practice cause it is basically the same size as a much larger caliber firearm... I recommend it...

The Smith M&P .22 semiauto...

Image

It's about the same size as most medium sized semi autos.... just under $400 in most gun shops... the only drawback is that .22 ammo is rather difficult to find although it is available if you look around, even on the internet in some places....

Great little gun for practice, plinking or even carry if you have nothing else... as I always say... "The only inadequate gun is the one you left at home"...

HA ! You so funny !

Was just popping in to say . . . It depends on what I am wearing what I am carrying . . . seriously.
Have a couple of "in the Purse" holsters (I carry a couple of different purses as well as have a Conceal Carry purse custom made for me), an IWB holster (for my Glock), a Uncle Mikes for my Taurus 40 cal, and my son just gifted me with a sweet little BlackHawk bellybag (can be used for every hand gun that I have. Gonna get me a belly band so that when I am out walking I can stick one of the wheel guns in. . . So, no matter where I go . . . .
