Each state has a bail bonding assosiation.
I believe the best way to advertise is to offer this free service and have the associations advertise it for free with all of the benifits it will ofer there bondsmen and bounty hunters.
Another thing i would like to see is all these hightech bounty hunters get a radio system set up nationwide with 3 channels solely for bounty hunters so when we go into diffrent area's we are all on the same page.
we did it in TN for our county, that way if someone else runs off to another county/state we can have communications.
same price just nationwide coverage. . . people we can do this we just need to get everyone on the same page.
IF we stick to working together instead of sitting around talking about each other we can get this accomplished.
I hear so many bounty hunters on here and myspace talking about each other and not about fugiitves..... if they put half the effort into this site we can have it up and running like NCIC in no time

So I am paying 5 dollars to send a text to have them call a landline. Not only that the credit headers are months behind Does anyone know where we can get some updated searches.... i currently use IRB which is ok, locate plus sucks... i tried getting Equifax, trans-union and experian but they say bonding companies can't have access. DOES ANYONE have any new sites???? What about real cell phone tracking?? Something have to change here folks, cell phones are killing us OK, hope we can get some good idea's up in here

Good idea if it can get enough skips posted to it to make it worth while to join.
However, not every state has a bail agent association as previously mentioned. And many that do have one, don't have a website. So it will take quite some effort to inform bail agents throughout the country of the website.
I may be getting into a technical area that has not been developed yet but, are the status pages strictly for the posting bail agent? Or would everyone see that info?
How will you deal with several BEAs going after the same skip? Whats to prevent a wanted person from logging in and pretexting to mislead the BEA?
Secondly, there are some privacy issues that will have to be dealt with.
You can't publish DOB, SS#, phone numbers etc in a public forum.
Have you had an attorney write your disclaimer and right to use notice?
I'm not throwing cold water on the plans it just that there are many things to consider with a proposal like this. And thats probably why someone else hasn't already developed a site like you are discussing.

I believe he is going to make it a point to check the license of the people gaining access to the site.
By law you can post there name, last known address, date of birth first 5 or last 6 of social security we do it all the time on wanted posters and on warrant sites they post this information.
As far as several BEA's looking for him at once, that happens now, you got 10 agents chasing down one file so what the hell... In order for someone to work a file legally they need to have a recovery contact filled out and signed anyhow... So unloess bonding companies are hiring rouge bounty hunters here shouldn't be a problem

I don't know this guy from Adam...have any of you bothered to check him out ? verify his credentials ? Remember the old addage, "if something sounds too good to be true, it usually is ?"
Being cautious is always prudent.....I just don't "join a band wagon" simply because everyone else is doing it....that philosophy has saved my bacon more than once.
Maybe this project is a good thing, maybe it isn't...I don't know.
Maybe you two are in this together....both of you are knew here, he pitches this idea...again..after the owner of this website removed his prior solicitation, and you are all over it...coincidence ? maybe...maybe not.

This is something I been trying to have someone set up for awhile.
What was the reason he pulled it the first time?? I didn't know it was removed once.
I am just sick of seeing the paid sites up like www.usabailjumper.com and so forth.
I just like the idea of it being free and having a place to search too see is anyone else has chased my skip in another part of the country.
IT IS a great idea expecially the free part. the less over head i spend the better I like it
If someone knows about my skip or knows where he is in another state I am more than willing to split my fee's to egt him back cuz I would have wasted half my money on gas, research etc....
THO I have noticed he is the only one posting skips. . .
Also, why was his post removed the lastime, this sound like something that EVERYONE would benifit from

The owner of this website has posted rules and policies regarding this website. In those rules he has clearly stated that soliciting on this website is not permissable.
This other website is in direct competition with FRN. Now granted, any of us are free to go to any website we want to..that is not the issue. What is the issue is actively recruiting people on this site to switch to another site. We have been through this several times this year alone.
In each instance, Phil had to resort to engaging his attorney, and having his attorney send out "cease n decist" letters to the offending parties.
To date, Phil has never lost a single court case regarding FRN.
All of this stuff is here on the forum if you use the search function. Also, I view it as simply being disrespectful to come onto 1 website to actively recruit for another.
It's not tolerated here. Frankly, I am surprised Phil has allowed it to continue as long as it has. Also, every feature this other person is advertising is available here and has been for some time. This concept is not a new one.
So following another old school addage, 'if aint broke, why fix it ?"
Also, as a moderator, it's part of my responsibility to Phil, to protect his investment from outside "raider's". Often in this situation I call him and we discuss things, and he checks them out, and if he agrees something is amiss, he deals with it...if not, then he lets it alone....
So again, redundantly, I see no difference between what we have and what this other person is offering. Also, I don't do business with strangers.

I could see the fact that he would not wish to have soliciting happen here but this site has more to offer than the other site. Here we can come to post and read and network.
The other site is just for posting skips which if gets running like the guy states would work more like NCIC and if added you could see if you got a bumb co-signer.
Thats the problem around here you got 1 co-signer here they send around to co-sign for everyone they need to get out of jail cuz they already have a judgement from one company and as you know you cannot get blood froma turn-up.
But as you said the owner has the right to not allow him to post certain things here so this is all up to him to decide.
For me, I am up too seeing anything that will make my job easier, it's not like I can go there and Network with others thats why i like visiting here.
here we can exchange ideas and chat. there the only thing you can do is view fugitives.
I get sick of using all my time to run around the net trying to see if they are wanted somewhere besides here. I would like to have 1 place everyone uses.
If maybe a compromise something between the 2 sites that would be great. . . we are all here with 2 goals in common....
to help and get help
