Great forum here. Thank God I do civil process service to help make up for my bail bonds here in upper east TN. Our bail bond business has dried up. We have only been on the block for about 6+ years and it seems the only persons writing bonds are those that have been in business for 30+. I can't complain, I'm making it at least. It seems around here people are just broke from loss of jobs. I am seeing a lot of huge bond reductions however, I'm talking like 30,000 to 3,000 after an arraignment. I'm not jumping on the wagon of taking payments. I've been down that road before. I guess all we can do is just hold on tight and hope not to get thrown from the ride. Good luck to you all.

I hear you Josh,I am not a bondsman just strictly bail enforcement.Of course what affects the bondsman ultimately affects my work as well.I work alot out of Rutherford county and davidson with a few others in coffee county as well and have noticed exactly(word for word)what you have stated. To be honest it really wasnt a gradual change either, seemed fairly quick to me.I myself have lost alot of work due to the fact people just dont have the money to bond out along with the courts just not placing high bonds anymore.Went from working on 25,000 dollar bonds on a fairly regular schedule to 3 and 5 thousand. It is a crazy time in our little State isnt it?
I am with the rest of you,Just trying to hang on and ride this out as best I can.
