I would be willing to participate in a site that would charge a reasonable fee and just listed skips and clients that still owed on bail premium. It would just have the vitals such as dob, ss#, physical description of the skip and maybe a photo.

That would be worth it to screen potential bail clients.

OK, IVE just about had it with these high priced searches.

Tonight I just found out SKIPSMASHERS new cell phone ping isn't a cell ping....
So I am paying 5 dollars to send a text to have them call a landline.

Not only that the credit headers are months behind

Does anyone know where we can get some updated searches.... i currently use IRB which is ok, locate plus sucks...

i tried getting Equifax, trans-union and experian but they say bonding companies can't have access.

DOES ANYONE have any new sites????

What about real cell phone tracking??

Something have to change here folks, cell phones are killing us :)

OK, hope we can get some good idea's up in here

Develop a solid relationship with financial people, car dealerships, etc...anyone who has need for running credit histories. Take them to dinner, buy them groceries, send them flowers, whatever...

TransUnion used to allow bail agents to sign up for their service. We had it several years ago and are considering using it again.

They sent me an app. I have yet to fill it out and send it back in. They didn't say I couln't re sign up for their service.

thank you all for your comments and your feedback. I appreciate them very much.

to answer one of your questions, i do not plan on charging a fee for bondsman / bounty hunters to use this website. Nor will i ever charge a fee for bondsman to use my site. From my research in these types of sites almost everyone charges something, and i'd like to be a little bit different... Thats why i dont consider posting my site on these forums a forum of spamming.

There are many purposes for creating this site. It was my original idea to have the site be like a facebook / myspace website specifically for people like us (bondsman / bountyhunters). Each company can have their own profile page, where they can list info on their company and then they could search other bondsman on the site and "network" with them and become friendly, so to speak, with them.

In addition to this people can use it to keep a updated database for their own company to keep track of their fugitives. Instead of dealling with many files, just hop right on the website, search your fugitive and you have his file sitting in front of you. Its also great for phones with internet on it. As i have the motorola Q i can log right on the website via my cell phone and pull up any one of my fugitives information.

I think it would be great of bondsman and fugitive trackers all over the world would sign up so they can work together on finding fugitive skips. I devised a system within the site that allows say a bondsman in baltimore who has a skip in california to network with each other to work on tracking a fugitive. For each fugitive that gets updated to the site has a "status" page. The california company working on the skip could offer his services to the baltimore company and update the fugitives status page any time he gets any new discoveries.

If people really want to use the fugitive information to solicit business for future bails than so be it although i find that fairly pathetic, if your company would have to resort to do that. But if you want to solicit a prior fugitive skip than by all means go ahead :)

Look, i am not trying to create enemies here. Im trying to offer the services of a website that i think could be beneficial to many of you. The database relies on people signing up and inserting their fugitive skips into the database. If just 5% of all the bondsmen in the country were to sign up and submit to the database and network with other bondsmen i think it would be a great step into helping everyone out.

Im sorry if this post has gotten too long, but as i hope one could see, i am passionate about this site and put a lot of thought and time into designing it, and its still very much a rough draft of what im looking to accomplish. Again, it is completely free, and never will i ever charge any of you. If you find another bondsmens skip via the website, it should be up to the two companies themselves to arrange a fee for the other company for tracking down any given fugitive.

Goodluck everyone, i hope to get to know some of you better and i hope you might consider giving the site a shot.

Forgive the redundnacy, but how is what you are offering any differnt than what we are already doing ?

I already network with mos tpeople on here, accept cases, farm cases out, swap fugitive intel, etc.

Maybe I'm just too old to grasp what it is exactly you are doing on your site that differs from what we have in place.

i understand that you network with people via the forums and give and receive out cases.

i do not see however profile pages with contact info for them as well as a database where fugitives are listed and can be browsed through. I assume everything you do as far as working on others cases might take place in the "restricted forum" or via PM.

Essentially what this site can potentially do is act as a comprehensive database of fugitive skips. You can electronically update people on the whereabouts of the skip via a status page.

I guess maybe what my site might offer is a cleaner set up for working on cases that doesn't necessarily rely on a forum. I see people can be to list their fugitives on this site and thats great. But in reality what are the chances one of the few fugitives that are listed are actually being actively searched on by another company willing to help out?

OK, what would be great is to have it so that we can keep track of people who have FTA on another company.

Perfect example, I am chasing a skip in memphis who has no prior FTA's and then 3 months after wasting all my time find out he has ran 10 times in another state that i had no clue about then I would have saved 3 months time finding out something I could have jumped on the internet to find out in 3 minutes.

I am up to helping out with my time to design a site or to help fund a site such as this. I am more willing to post every skip i have on this site for something like this to happen.

ALSO, It would be great for bondsmen to jump on this site to look up potential clients to see if they have ever missed court in another state.

To comment on the soliciting. Why would someone go out of there way to get someone out of jail to who has a habbit of running? I mean you would have to be a complete idiot to bond someone who has ran on 10 other bonds with 10 other companies.

It would ALSO be so nice to have a site that has a court listing so you can look up cases in another state.

PEOPLE, i am a Ex military man and i can say this, we can do this, we can do something everyone else is dreaming of doing, dreaming of using. Men do as they want but children do as there told. Are we men who will go out and get the job done or are we deckhands waiting to be givin a job to do??

this challenge is up to you but as far as I go, I am wanting to do this.

If each person who signs up added a link to the site for diffrent courts in there state, Epayment sites for traffic citations to reasearch someone ina city for violations, posted up dead beat co-signers, posted there fugitives, Affidavit sites to read police reports on people we know have been arrested in other areas and got the word out this a free service just put in your input.....

One man can only build a hut but many men can build a kingdom.... I want this site to be our kingdom.

Anyhow I am just so sick of you puzzy's talking about what we could do, we need to get it done.

I see his point, I have a case which hits on his point.

2 weeks ago I went to a house to pick up a man we were looking for, We have computers and warrant system verification for shelby county set up in our cars, we ran everyone in the house and no locals on them, we ran them thru Desoto county fugitive, nothing popped back for locals, we called critteden county, still nothing.

2day i got a case from a Michigan bondsman, he just found out a week ago the guy was in Memphis... 40,000.00 bond....been chasing him2 months, guess what, he was one of the guys we ran locals on.... guess what else, now we can't find him and got a tip he maybe in california with a cousin all because we didn't know someone was looking for him.

Tim,
I appreciate your enthusiasm for this. It is nice to see that someone has as much passion for a site like this as i do. Thats why i want to work as hard as i possibly can to clean up edit or add the features that this site needs to have to be a success.

I sent you a network invitation tim, so i was hoping you will accept it, next time you log in a message will appear below the search functions seeing if you want to accept the network invitation or not. I would hope when you find some spare time in your day you might be able to begin uploading fugitive skips to the site, and as we go along hopefully more will follow suit.

Again, im not trying to make any money here, i have a successful bail business and understand the rigors of having many skips. I can really see this being a vital resource for bondsman all over the country to use. The way the site is set up now you can search for any combination of first middle and last name. So if you only know the middle name you can still search for it and see if anything pops up for it. I understand it will also be benficial to search within a specific location and i will discuss this with my coder to add this feature.

Hopefully we can spread the word and be in our ways to creating a very powerful database that we can all benefit from.
