There are a great number of subscribers to this list that read and don't respond. As we review how people interact on here, it is emblematic of how they might react under stress or stressful situations. So much of this business is based on communication skills, both written and verbal.
We have learned over the years that most law enforcement know little about our field and we must be more knowledgeable than they are. However knowledgeable an individual is, if they cannot successfully communicate it, it is useless.
