Since this is about Colorado and Dog... I know how you guys feel on him, but out of my mind - what do you guys think of Bobby Brown? He's on Dog's show whenever they go to Denver, is there any 'dislike' towards him from any of you?

I know Bobby and we have done limited work for him. I have clearly told him of my feelings about the Chapmans, and his response is that the publicity is good for his business. I also know some, who do some work for him, that vacate when the "clown crew" comes to town, refusing to work with or have anything to do with them.

So, take it how you will. He likes the publicity, and is willing to sell himself for it. Other reputable agents disassociate themselves from all of them when Dog is around.

What I know for a fact is that Bobby will undercut other bondsmen on premiums and collateral to write a bond, and uses mostly salaried BEA's at a low pay for his FTA's. That explains ours' and others' limited "work" for him.

Since I have no personal knowledge, I won't even think about passing along the other improper activities that I have heard rumor of.

There is stiff competition, even among his family in the area, so the competition is fierce. The undercutting of bond premiums and BEA payments is a given. The rest... I have no personal evidence, so won't go further.

"What about you darlin, is your soul for sale?" Doc Holliday, Tombstone.
lol

Sad, but that crap goes on all the time. I cant imagine when the circus comes to town what it would be like.

Speaking of cutthroat, this area, Im sure not unlike many areas, is terrible for being cutthroat. You HAVE to do it if you want to eat. If you bid a bond full price, you WONT get it. I hate it with a passion, but you gotta do what you gotta do and its bad around here.

Contact Scott Harrell at www.beabountyhunter.com www.pieducation.com and or Scott Olson at the NIBE www.bail-enforcement.com

That will be your start. There will be a class in Chicago in July that will be attended by many inexperienced as well as experienced bail enforcement professionals, you might want to get into that class.

Scott
