hows things all, ive wanted to do this since i was very young. im now 18 and i dont know how to get started. i know there are classes and i will be taking one this summer. is a GED ok? would being in military help? any info would be appreciated. thanks

My advise to you would be read all the posts in the forums as this question has been answered many times along with many others you see that there are many topics,after that if you still need some answers I am quite sure someone will try and answer .

Your best bet is to join the military or work Security and study BEA work at least until your 21, I don't know any 18 year old BEA's and no matter how mature you may be I think your age is an obstacle, my clients would likely cease doing business with me if I even suggested I was thinking of hiring a teenager to do BEA work. I suspect this would be the case for all pro BEA's here.

This is probably not what you want to hear but it's my honest observation.

Military Police would be the way to go! Get some years under your belt in that field! This is a very hard Biz to get in at your age!

Run far away from this join the military then consider doing this hopefully by then you will have changed your mind. But if you are dead set on doing this learn all you can.
