Max thanks for the info--I to have always been a leather fan--mitch rosen custom gun leather is headquartered in manchester nh only about 20 minutes from me so until now he has made all my holsters--excellant quailty and expensive--retension not that great so i went to the bianchi lock pancake holster--again excellant but gets worn very quick--a friend suggested the blackhawk cqc with the serpa retension lock and i love it --in my opinion the paddle defeats the lock idea so i do not use the paddle at all--i also use the fbi cant and find the holster very comfortable and practical--the other situation with me is i am a lefty and i carry either kimber pro carry(clone of 1911 commander)or a colt custom commander-so many holsters are not available to me---again thanks for the info
