Three Indianapolis residents filed a lawsuit Friday claiming that last July 13, agents of Advantage Bail Bonds forced their way into a home at gunpoint as they searched for an alleged bail jumper.
After learning the man they sought was not there, the lawsuit in Marion Superior Court claims, two agents began taking property that belonged to Cesar Granados, who was not the subject of their search.
In the lawsuit, Granados claims they took watches, gold valued at $1,000 and $1,700 in cash.
Another plaintiff, Esmeralda Rodriguez, then six months pregnant, claims the bail agents threatened her with arrest if she did not reveal the whereabouts of the man they were seeking.
The suit also claims the agents placed a 13-year-old boy in handcuffs and threatened him with jail. The child also is listed as a plaintiff.

Let's wait till the facts come out before we decide the BEA's in question did what probabably is the family of the fugitive trying to get revenge.
There are a couple people on this forum who are up in that area of Indiana who could better comment on the possible legitimacy of this claim based on their personal knowledge of that particular bond company.

Don,
I personally know 1 of the individuals from this bonding company that are in question. He came to us wanting to do Recovery for us. After passing his information on to the General Agent we gave him a shot. That was his first and last shot with us. This incident did occur and it came from the mouth of one of the accused individuals. Advantage Bail Bonding is two doors down from our Indy office. Our office has had a few "altercations" with these individuals ourselves. These guys are bad news!!

Ouch...
Thanks for the update Mark.
While I do not doubt they entered the residence, I am hoping they did not actually steal stuff from the house.
Personally I think the recovery license should have the same requirements as the PI license here in Indiana.
