Does anyone know how the police react towards out of state bail bondsman in Charlotte? I am hoping to head that way tonight to pick up one of my skips.

I would get in touch with a bondsman in the area where you think your skip is for local knowledge. NC, Just like TN, has places you ought not to go in without local knowledge. Besides, someone with a local reputation might get your guy while you are on the way there and save you have of your trip.

I try to call bondsmen in the area I am headed to to see if they have a skip in my area. Just like a trucker (Bill M.) I don't like to dead head :)
