The one thing that you have to be careful about when tracing a email is the fact that some people use a program that will hide the actual IP and give you one somewhere totally different.You can even make up a IP address with some programs, I know I have been sitting here in Alabama and had it saying that I was all over the US and other countries when I preformed a IP bounce which changed the IP every 1 minute. I have not received anything from a hotmail address in a while, but I know they use to include the IP in the email from where it came from.
