Hello,

My name is Steve. I have been around here lurking and posting a few times but all the while trying to get in with a bonding company in my area. I am working with an old friend now that has about 10 cases and i was wondering if anyone would possible pm me and let me know any of the pay per search programs or websites that are the best? I know that you guys don't like giving this info out publicly on the forums, but i figured it was worth a chance because we want to impress this bondsman we are working for so that the work keeps coming!

BTW after about a week of work so far, we ended up catching two just yesterday!

TIA

Steve Thompson

Hey kitty,I am currently trying to get a bondsman to vouch for me and have been working with this bondsman for a week or so. I am not currently licensed but am working on getting the state police paperwork signed off with the bondsman so that i am completely official. I am working directly with and under one of my close friends who is licensed as a bail bond enforcer in WV and is also a prelicensed bail bondsman. I go nowhere and do no work without him by my side. We talked to the owner (bondsman) today and he said he has no problem signing me off now that he see's how we work because in the past two days we have brought him 3 defendants whose bonds were 2 years old. I would appreciate any and all help.TIASteve Thompson

Hi Steve!

sorry for taking so long to respond, but I've been really busy between working and studying for my exam.

The only advice that I can seriously give at this point... would be to create a signature line, and properly introduce yourself,if you have not done so already; in most cases, they won't display or give out sensitive information for privacy purposes.

ok thanks for the tips.

I have made an intro post a while back. I just got all of my paperwork signed off and sent off to WVSP so any help would be appreciated. I also made a signature line for everyone.

All i need to know at this moment is what pay per search sites are the best, i know of a few but don't know how well they perform compared to what they cost. If anyone could just pm me a couple names of the better sites I would greatly appreciate it!

Thanks again!

Stephen, I currently use Skipsmasher, IRB, and Find My Skip. All have pretty strict licensing requirements and charge for gaining access.

You can do all kinds of searches and receive all kinds of promised info on the internet. Some is free, some is paid, some you pay for that is really free if you know where to look. It is frustrating, but the search engines that are the most strict are usually the ones with the better info. They understand security and liability issues. If they don't accept you it isn't personal, it is just how they do business. Those that allow access to anybody with a debit/credit card are usually only supplying info that is publically available to anybody that is persistent enough to find it for free.

ok thank you very much for the info. Those were a couple i have heard of, haven't heard of find my skip though. I'm also thinking of using locateplus, how does it compare to the ones you listed above?

I also know that i need to prove my licensing before being able to use such programs. I have also found out quite a bit of info off of free searches but i wanted something that dug a little deeper.

Amen...

Most of the sites that Kathy has mentioned is, you have to be in business for at least six months to a year, and when you apply for these sites, they will literally check you out thoroughly;including, taking photos of you and your place of business.

Its also important to know the difference between real-time and stored data.
